Plattsmouth Police Officers Recognized

PL police officers recognized

At Monday night’s city council meeting, Chief Steve Rathman recognized 3 officers for their exceptional work during recent incidents. Officer Neal Thomas and Officer Nolan Siemonsma received life saving awards for an incident from January of this year. Both officers responded to a residence involving a male party who had stopped breathing in which CPR was started. Through the course of their actions, this male party began breathing again and is back home with his family today. Officer Mike McKnelly was recognized for his Friend of Social Work award received by SSWAN for his work with kids in the Plattsmouth schools. A letter was also presented from Nebraska Congressman Mike Flood recognizing Officer McKnelly’s efforts.
Congratulations to all three officers. We’re very proud of you and your efforts in making Plattsmouth a better place!

COME ON OVER!

This is the way country music started out, with acoustic instruments, before electricity.  People sat out on the lawn, on the porch, or in a friend’s house and played their instruments together.

Enjoy the originality of music which is still present in many circles of friends.
