MONTHLY MEETING PLANNED:  The Korn Klub will hold its first monthly meeting of 2020 on Thursday, January 16, 7PM at the Plattsmouth State Bank Community Room (upstairs) to plan and discuss this year’s Plattsmouth Harvest Festival.  The new Board of Directors (elected during the October 2019 meeting) will be seated.  Many thanks to outgoing President Rachel Parsons and Members-at-Large Tim Dunlap & Christine MacLellan for their dedication and service to the club during their tenure.

Enrollment for the 2019-2020 Cass County 4-H year is currently open.  If you have a child age 5 (by January 1st) through age 18, and are interested in joining 4-H, it’s time to enroll.  Enrollment is completed on-line at https://ne.4HOnline.com.  Maybe you have some friends already in 4-H; ask them which club they belong to.  If you need help selecting a club, call the Extension Office at 402-267-2205.  The office is open 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Swim Lesson Instructor

The City of Plattsmouth is accepting applications for Swim Lesson Instructors at the Plattsmouth Community Center. Must be comfortable with people, young children, and have the ability to swim. Applications and job descriptions are available at City Hall, 136 N. 5th St., Plattsmouth, NE 68048, or online here. Return applications and signed job descriptions to City Hall. Open until filled.
