During the months of October and November the Plattsmouth Police Department participated in the Pink Path Project and No Shave November, all in support of breast cancer awareness. The program was sponsored DJs Dugout and also partnered with the Fraternal Order of Police-Lodge #34, HyVee, Henry-Hobscheidt Motors, Plattsmouth State Bank, Pam Caba Insurance, and Gregg Young Automotive Group.

In addition, the Plattsmouth Police Department partners with Project Pink’d in the fight against breast cancer. Today, the Plattsmouth Police Department presented a check for $2500 to Project Pink’d President and Founder Cynthia Sturgeon. The police department is honored to help Project Pink’d in their fight against this disease.

Great News for us!! We have got the go ahead to purchase much needed SCBA. After years of hard work our efforts have paid of. This purchase will replace all of our respiratory protection which have reached their end of service life and give our firefighters state of the art safety equipment for the next 15 years. None of this would be possible without the efforts of our members, our city and rural governments, The Jack Lewis foundation, DHS, and our firefighters association!

A giant team effort!!???

The staff members were assigned to shop with families from Cass County and helped to bring some extra joy to these children's holiday. Thank You to the FOP for organizing and fundraising and to Target of Bellevue for accommodating this event!
