Coffee House 2016

3rd ANNUAL COFFEE HOUSE SET IN PLATTSMOUTH

With a little help from his friends, Nebraska musician and entertainer Terry Little will celebrate his birthday just as he has done the past 22 years.  On Saturday, February 6, the Plattsmouth resident and tunesmith will host his 23rd annual Music Coffee House at St. John’s School gym in Plattsmouth. The evening of folk music and fun will be held from 6:30 PM until around midnight, and will feature the talents of local and regional artists.

Among the scheduled performers are:
•  John Kool
•  Steve Reed
•  37 Years (Tyler and Sandy Smith) with Kyle Knapp
•  Jonathan Little
•  Nancy & Halle McCartney
•  Tom Lucas
•  Scott Ussery
•  The Old Krusty Minstrels (Larry Jensen, Ron Kolb, Pat Carroll, Jon Ulrich & Little)
•  and a surprise or two...

There is no charge to attend, however, freewill donations will benefit a parish youth ministry/young adult program.
This is an evening for adults (please, no children). Coffee and refreshments will be served, but attendees are invited to bring snacks and beverages to share. Attendees are invited to dress in coffee house style (beatnik, hippie, surfer, bell bottoms, beads, Roman sandals, etc.). Prizes will be awarded!
The coffee house started twenty two years ago in Terry’s basement. About 50 friends gathered to enjoy songs and stories from the 60’s, 70’s and 80's.  The next year it moved to the school gym so that more people could attend.  It has become an annual celebration on the first Saturday of February and has drawn crowds of up to 400.
Little has ministered in music to congregations and entertained audiences around the world for the past 45 years.  An accomplished musician and songwriter, he has appeared on EWTN’s Life on the Rock television show and has several albums to his credit.  Little is Director of Music at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Plattsmouth.
