Free Veterans Day Concert at the Lofte Community Theatre

Manley, NE [November 1, 2015] - The Lofte Community Theatre is proud to announce that it will be holding its annual free Veterans Day concert on Sunday, November 8 at 2pm. Our guest musicians are the members of the Southeast Nebraska Community Band.

The SNCB is made up of individuals from eleven different counties, some of whom drive 70 miles one-way to band practice. Some have their roots playing with military bands in the Air Force or Army. Others are former music teachers, while yet others have a love of their high school trombone and never put it away. This is a group of amazingly talented individuals dedicated to sharing their talent and love of great music.

The hour-long concert will feature some of your most favorite patriotic tunes and highlight a special opportunity for former and active servicemen and women to be saluted by their branch’s anthem.

Bring the kids. Bring grandma and grandpa too. This is an inspiring event best enjoyed with a group of friends!

Community wide service project serving Veterans around Cass County! General maintenance, house clean up, painting, window replacement, etc.

Recycle bin is emptied every other Thursday. The next time will be November 12.
