Thursday, November 7, 2013, Safe Kids Sarpy/Cass County will be holding a child passenger safety seat inspection station at the Murdock Elementary School from 9:00 a.m. toNationally certified child passenger safety technicians will be on-site to 1) help you determine if you have the right car seat, 2) teach you how to install it correctly, and 3) answer any questions you may have. Appointments are necessary. Please call (402) 339-4334 ext. 210 to schedule your free appointment.

Medicare Open Enrollment

The Cass County Extension office will be offering Medicare Part D open enrollment sessions at the library on Thursday, November 14, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

There is no charge to Medicare beneficiaries for this service. Interested persons need to call the Cass County Extension office at 402-267-2205 to set up an appointment. Each person needs to book a half hour appointment; husbands and wives each need an appointment. Medicare beneficiaries will need to bring along their Medicare card and a list of the prescription medications they take. A complete list of enrollment events is available on the UNL Extension Office website.
