Lofte Community Theatre
Children's Theater Event at Lofte a Success
The Missoula Children's Theater residency at the Lofte Community Theatre last week was a resounding success. In all, 110 children auditioned for the play. This is a new record for area children wanting to take part in the week-long theater event. After auditions, 58 children were cast to present the classic tale, "Hansel & Gretel." Starring in the title roles were Dawson Hogue of Murray (playing Hansel) and Madeline Schmit of Lincoln (playing Gretel). The Wildwood Witch was played by Carson Santee of Plattsmouth. Other children participating in the play are listed below by their town of residence.
The Lofte thanks Home State Bank and Plattsmouth State Bank for their continued sponsorship of this marvelous event. Missoula Children's Theater is a non-profit organization based out of Missoula, Montana which works to help the development of life skills for children through the participation of the performing arts.
