I am attaching a jpeg of a painting that has disappeared from the Gallery. This has probably occurred in the past 8 months. I have rented the space to a couple of groups and hate to think that someone would have stolen this painting, but there is really no other explanation. I only want it returned, no questions asked. Please send this to everyone you know, so whomever has this painting will be unable to hang it on the wall. I will be putting up wanted posters around town.

AUDITION NOTICE
Manley, NE - The Lofte Community Theatre in Manley will be holding auditions on Monday, September 5 and Tuesday, September 6 at 7pm for its production of, "Don't Dress For Dinner." The script calls for 3 men and 3 women between the ages of 25-55. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
Written by Robin Hawdon, the story revolves around a man planning a weekend with his mistress at a remote farmhouse. Best friend, Robert is to provide a foolproof alibi, but when the wife arrives unexpectedly and the caterer is mistaken for the mistress, hilarity ensues. Director Kevin Colbert notes that this script should be rated PG-13. Performance dates run October 15-30.

Plattsmouth Public Library
The Plattsmouth Public Library will be closed on Sunday and Monday, September 4 and 5, for Labor Day weekend. The library will also be closed the following Friday and Saturday, September 9 and 10, due to Harvest Festival. The library will be open for the Little Miss and Master’s Pageant on Saturday, September 10, at 10:00 a.m. Look for the library’s parade entry on Saturday!
The new computers have been installed at the library. The library is still working out some bugs, so staff asks for your patience during this time.

NETA Travel Conference Scholarship Program
The Nebraska Travel Association (NETA) is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to attend the Nebraska Travel Conference October 18-20. The purpose of the NETA Travel Conference Scholarship program is to annually award up to eight (8) $300 scholarships to help defray the costs associated with attending the Nebraska Travel Conference. All NETA members are encouraged to apply. All applications must be received by September 20, 2011. Please note the scholarship is a stipend and not intended to cover all costs associated with the conference. Judges are not eligible to receive the scholarship.
Reimbursable expenses include the following:
• Travel Conference registration
• Lodging, not to exceed three nights*
• Meals*
• Mileage
*No meals will be reimbursed if those meals are included with the conference registration fee. Itemized receipts must be included for meals and lodging. Alcohol, long-distance phone calls, movie rentals and other additional expenses associated with meals and lodging are not reimbursable. Registration fee for the travel conference will be the responsibility of the person attending the conference.
Return this form and a maximum of three typed pages of information with answers to the following:
1. Is your organization a NETA member?
2. Number of years that you have attended the Travel Conference.
3. Have you or others in your office ever received a NETA Travel Conference scholarship? If so, please explain who attended with NETA scholarship assistance and when they attended.
4. Statement showing your current involvement and/or planned future involvement in the tourism industry.
5. How will attending the Travel Conference benefit you and/or your organization?
6. How will you use what you learn at the Travel Conference to benefit NETA and the tourism industry? Include past and planned NETA committee involvement.
7. Statement of financial need.
Applications must be received by September 20, 2011______. Applications received after that date will not be considered.
