Chloe Neill, author of the book, “Some Girls Bite” will be doing a reading, book signing, and question/answer period at the Plattsmouth Public Library on Saturday, August 8th at 11:00 a.m.  We will have snacks after the author visit and then a vampire themed movie will be shown at 1:00 p.m.  All events are free and open to the public.  So come have a bitingly good time with us!

I am always amazed when people say there is nothing to do here!  Case in point, I received two different flyers promoting worthwhile events that are upcoming in September in my email. I love the idea of the storytelling festival

and will be checking that out at Mahoney State Park with the kids.

To get ready for the end of the summer which is rapidly approaching, here are some shots from our pool visit Sunday night to Twin Rivers.  This summer we have just not had the opportunity to go every night like we usually do.  So it was great to see our friends there and spend the time enjoying the perfect water and perfect evening weather!

Have a great week-enjoy the fair but come see us at the library on Saturday!
